Watch & learn how to make delicious Suji Ka Halwa, from our chef Seema on Swaad Anusaar. <br /> <br />Suji Halwa is an easy to make Indian sweet where suji (semolina) is cooked in ghee, sugar and dry fruits. <br /> <br />Ingredients <br />1 cup Suji <br />1 cup Ghee <br />3 cup water <br />3-4 Cardamon <br />1 cup sugar <br />Saffron <br />Yellow Colour <br />Raisins <br />Almond <br />Pista <br />1 tbsp Rose Water <br /> <br />Method <br />Take a pan and add 1 cup suji to it and dry roast it for around 4-5 mins on slow flame and remove it into a plate. <br /> <br />In a pan add 1 cup of ghee, heat it and add the roasted suji in it and let it roast for some time. <br /> <br />Take a bowl, add 3 cup of water, 3-4 crushed cardamom, 1 cup sugar and mix well. Then add some saffron and yellow colour and allow the water to boil. <br /> <br />Add the boiled water into the pan and mix well, add some raisins, chopped pista and chopped almonds and stir well for around 1 min and add 1 tbsp of Rose water. <br /> <br />Finally the sweet, healthy, and delicious Suji Ka Halwa is ready to be served.
